I write fantasy and speculative fiction featuring adventure, mystery, forgotten histories, and the bonds that shape us.

After graduating from Detroit Catholic Central High School, I studied creative writing at Wittenberg University, where I somehow ended up editing the humor section of the campus newspaper. 

I have spent years exploring the intersection of fantasy, science fiction, and adventure. The short story I wrote about my grandfather’s experiences as a POW during WWII is archived in the Library of Congress alongside his interview for the Veterans History Project. 

I grew up watching Dino-Riders and wanting to be a paleontologist. My work often combines larger-than-life concepts with characters striving to do the right thing when the world would rather they choose the easier path.

When I'm not working as a Securities Analyst for a bank or writing, I enjoy archery, reading, video games, and learning far more about dinosaurs than is probably necessary.

Favorite authors include C.S. Lewis, Michael Crichton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Brian Jacques, and Brandon Sanderson.
