About

I like to spend my days sitting at a computer, staring at a blank screen. When not struggling to write (usually it's less than 10,000 words per day [sometimes much less]), I like to read (not as voraciously as I'd prefer), shoot my bow (I'm not yet ready for the Olympics, but I've got to prepare for the impending zombie apocalypse), and procrastinate with video games and television.

Yep. That sums up my writing process pretty adequately.

Now, onto the third-person (un)important bits.

Ben Kreucher is a 2006 Graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. While at the University, he co-edited the Humor section of the school newspaper, and joined the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. His articles were among the most read by faculty and students. Ben prefers to write action adventure fantasy fiction manuscripts, paranormal fantasy fiction manuscripts, and short humor blogs.

His favorite authors include: C. S. Lewis and Michael Crichton.

In keeping with my theme--Novelist, Nerd, Nouveau Knight--I write three blogs.

  • One here: chronicling my journey as a novelist. It's updated monthly with all the inspiration, perspiration, and exsanguination, really just the trials and tribulations along the way.

  • Hilarity Is: a compilation of all things nerd (and a few things otherwise) with [I hope] a humorous slant. Updated twice weekly on Monday and Thursday.

  • Stand Apart: a look at the struggles of striving to follow the narrow path and what chivalry might look like in the modern and postmodern age. Updated once a week on Friday.

Follow one, two, or all three to get a glimpse behind the curtain; just try not to go mad.
